David Fulfer

Our son, husband, daddy, "Gramps", brother and best friend temporarily said goodbye on July 7, 2009, in Springdale. Harold David Fulfer was born on March 22, 1951, in Prairie Grove to James Preston (Jay) and Catherine LaWanda Fulfer. As a native of Springdale, he graduated in 1969 from Springdale High School and in 1974 received his degree from the University of Arkansas in Banking and Finance. He attended First Assembly of God in Springdale for 57 years, teaching Sunday school & serving as deacon for 32 years. He was a realtor and owner of Wilkins Homes, Inc and Westfield Chapel funeral home in Springdale. David is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Rev. Arthur and Katie Alred Fields and paternal grandparents Preston and Fannie Fulfer, and infant brother Bruce Fulfer. David is survived by his parents of Springdale; his wife, Jeanne Wilkins Fulfer, whom he married on November 21, 1971; his son and daughter-in-law, Colby and Rachel Fulfer, their daughters Abigail and Faith, all of Springdale; his daughter and son-in law, Amy and Mark Jones, their children Graham and Bella Jones of Auburn, Alabama; his brother and sister-in-law Larry and Roberta Fulfer of Rogers. David’s hobbies included serving his Lord and Savior, passionately loving his family, and ministering compassion, love, acceptance and empathy for anyone who Jesus brought to his path. David never wasted one moment of one day on himself and lived the entirety of his life with no regrets. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, from 6-8 PM, at Westfield Chapel in Springdale. We will celebrate his life on Saturday, July 11, at 10 AM, at First Assembly of God in Springdale. Rev. Colby Fulfer, Rev. Mark Jones, and Rev. Kenneth R. Woods will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Mike Anderson, B.W. Dykes, Ronnie Froud, Gary Jech, Jim Lindsey, Norbert Ranalli, Shane Rhoades, and Larry Roberts. Honorary pallbearers are Ray Black, Brent Fulfer, James Fulfer, Jim Fulfer, Johnny Fulfer, Tommy Fulfer, Larry Fulfer, Rayburn Green, Mike Hicklin, Rev. James Longmate, Tom Lundstrom, Rev. Doug Parrish, Don Peters, Rod Russell, Joe Shrum, and the Sunset Grill Breakfast Buddies. Special Honorary pallbearer, Joe Patrick (1949-2004).
